Latimer Asch is managing principal of Asch Advisory Services LLC, providing strategic and technical consulting for all aspects of credit risk management with a focus on small business lending. The firm, founded in 2001, offers deep technical expertise in analytics and automated decisioning plus extensive domain knowledge in financial services to help clients optimize their use of sophisticated credit risk management technology.

Mr. Asch has over twenty-five years of experience in developing and implementing credit risk management solutions. As Vice President and later as Senior Vice President at Fair, Isaac and Company, Inc., Mr. Asch revolutionized small business credit granting by developing the industry's first small business credit scoring systems. Mr. Asch created the business model of using standardized pooled data scorecards for small business, allowing a broad range of financial institutions rapid access to empirical analytic solutions. As general manager for all commercial risk management and marketing services, Mr. Asch was responsible for analytic and software solutions for prospect identification, application screening, and account and portfolio management services. Mr. Asch managed the development of a complete solution set to meet client needs throughout the credit life cycle and launched a consulting services group focused on analytic and decisioning technology.
